Dr. Rafael Toledo Baston is a doctor graduated from the Medical School “Faculdade de Medicina de Catanduva” - (FAMECA) in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

He completed his medical specialization in Otorhinolaryngology at the “Hospital Paulista de Otorrinolaringologia”, one of the most renowned institutions in the field in Brazil and obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Sleep Medicine by the “Instituto do Sono”, both located in the city of São Paulo.

During his training he participated in several Specialty Groups in the field of ​​otolaryngology, as well as Clinical Meetings of the groups of Otology and Otorhino Pediatrics at UNIFESP, the Stomatology outpatient clinic at UNIFESP, Clinical Meetings of Voice and Larynx at HCFMUSP-SP, periodic training in Endonasal Surgery and skull base at SVO-USP, general meetings of the otorhinolaryngology group at “Santa Casa da Misericórdia de São Paulo” and internship in the department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the AC Camargo Hospital.

He worked in São Paulo as part of the clinical staff of the main hospitals in the city and currently resides in Barretos, where he took over the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at “Instituto Respire.”

Dr. Rafael is a member of ABORL-CCF (Brazilian Association of Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Surgery) and ABSONO (Brazilian Sleep Association), authorities of both medical specialties in the country.

He frequently participates in refresher courses, national and international congresses to integrate the latest surgical techniques and offer a high level of treatment to his patients.
